About This Blog

I created this blog back in April of 2010 to compliment my time spent playing an online game that I was and currently still am enjoying. The game is called Entropia Universe. At the time I started creating this blog I was a non-depositing player, meaning I had to live off of hours of boring in-game work to get some money to be able to do the fun stuff. So this blog was a way for me to get through the monotony of doing the not-so-fun stuff and still have a way to enjoy it all. By creating a story behind my character I took the boring work and made it into a sort of survival for this fictional character I had created, thus making the boring task a thing that was more like doing a job to make it through to the next day instead of just a dull grind (not that it wasn't a dull grind while I did it, but afterwards I turned it into plot which made it seem like it had been less dull).

Not long after creating the blog I decided I wanted to reprioritize some things in my life and sold out in game. At that point I still wanted to write and took my character from in-game stuff to places that don't exist in game. By doing this I created a way for me to let my creative juices flow which helped me in my real life to cope with stress and at times anger. It's hard to be angry when you're unfolding an elaborate story in your head. Anyway, after starting to write and getting it all going I realized I was posting nearly every day at one point and that became my goal for a time, though now I have stepped back a bit to accommodate more changes in my life, but I still try to post as often as my creativity and time allow. I have also begun writing a book and tying it into this same story, though that is a project that could take a while if it is ever completed the way I would like.

I also still write a bit about my in-game exploits, though they aren't quite as exciting, but perhaps I will get back to making it more interesting soon, it all depends on how things go and what activities I end up doing. I added a goal section so that people can keep up with the things I want to accomplish and to understand where my GOAL posts are coming from. I hope to come up with lots of interesting things in the future and continue to expand my blogging style and make it more interesting in the long run, but until then you're stuck with an author that is a bit lazy and only writes when there is some time and inspiration to do so.
